US Based Optical Physicist or Optical Engineer US based optical physicist job description

Teleportium Corporation is an American deep tech 3D telepresence communications platform dedicated to developing innovative hardware in the form of 3D projection and 3D capture so that consumers can interact with life size 3D images of their colleagues and family who are far away in real time without any glasses or head sets.

Responsibilities

You will be required to work with our team of physicists:

• Showcasing optical physics, geometrical optics, and hands-on in the lab skills to develop new AR hardware breakthrough such as levitating 3D image projection and capture.
• Providing coding specifications or standards as needed
• Reviewing relevant scientific publications
• Drafting intellectual property applications
• Presenting latest findings or innovative breakthroughs or problems to the team with an eye to further innovation and to problem solving
• Prompt delivery of deliverables Gantt Chart to showcase progress

Minimum qualifications

The successful candidate will have most or all of the following:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Strong Holography and 3D levitating techniques
• Experience developing seamless interfaces between humans, digital information, and the physical environment
• Strong C/C++ and Python and other programming skills
• Experience with CUDA, OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, C#, Unity
• Experience with version control (Git, svn, etc)
• Strong interest in hardware side AR/VR
